Wearable art handmade from local wool

One of a kind, wearable art. I ‘paint’ the wild landscapes... moorland colours and textures that evoke the changing moods of ancient Dartmoor.

My 'paints' are my handspun, dyed or undyed, British breed specific lambswool and sustainable natural fibres, sourced very locally in Devon, Cornwall and the South West. Traceable British wools from farms and vintage wool mills in Devon and Cornwall, and ends of line from the mills to reduce waste.

Beautiful lambswool and natural fibres handspun on my spinning wheels, or British lambswool sourced from local farms and small local independent mills, then handwoven on my floor loom or knitted by hand with knitting needles.
Individual one off pieces. I knit unisex sweaters and hats with knitting needles, and hand weave scarves, throws, cushions and accessories on my traditional wooden looms.

Unique, unrepeatable, original heirloom pieces. Local, sustainable, recyclable and circular. Wool is warm, cool, repels moisture, is refreshed by airing and needs little washing, and replenishes the soil at the end of its long life. Slow artisan textiles, entirely handmade.

Handmade on Dartmoor to last.
